This is the new single from NYC based band Wooing.
Fronted by multi-instrumentalist Rachel Trachtenburg - a performer in the New York music scene since she was six years old - Wooing offer hauntingly beautiful vocals backed by echoing guitars. Trachtenburg started playing as the drummer in her family’s band, The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players. Joined by JR Thomason (guitar) and Rosie Slater (drums), the band has existed for just over a year.
I absolutely love this band and I can't imagine how one could not! A beautiful synergy of surf rock; hazy, indie pop; sumi's light voice; and the occasional, passionate yet soft, new wave style guitar. It's practically impossible for me to choose my top 1 song so I'll go with let it begin, the courage to become somebody's past, and coming to the end! You should really just listen to their entire discography though. ^_^ My heart goes out to them and all they've been through recently <3 bangsinmytearduct
So happy this album is on bandcamp. I almost never get to listen to my CDs anymore, because my stereo broke, and I don't really want to buy a new one. So it's nice to have a little Bauhaus back in my life. I love the extended version of Bella Lugosi's dead especially. Devin Anderson
